A weekend to remember

A special highlight was Ryu Sintuphrom, a top pilot from Thailand, who put on a magnificent show and thrilled the audience with his spectacular flight maneuvers. Following the Schüpfheim show, he will travel on to the EXFC in the Czech Republic together with Swiss pilots Noel Vögelin and Robin König. Tony Tan, president and CEO of the renowned company Pilot-RC, was also on site and graced the event with his presence.

The flight line ran like clockwork—the tightly scheduled program was carried out down to the minute. This professional organization was the result of the mutual respect among the team members and the high level of professionalism demonstrated by the pilots and the air traffic control team.

The absolute highlight was undoubtedly the night show. As darkness fell and the illuminated model airplanes soared into the night sky, the excitement was palpable. These magical moments, which gave the spectators goosebumps, will be remembered for a long time to come. A truly unforgettable highlight of a weekend that will otherwise also be fondly remembered.

An event like this can only succeed through the collaboration of many dedicated people. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the pilots, volunteers, organizers, and, of course, the enthusiastic spectators who made this weekend something truly special. The 2025 Schüpfheim Model Airplane Show has impressively demonstrated that model flying is more than just a hobby—it’s pure passion that brings people together and creates unforgettable moments.
